How to read this collection

These are synthetic, deliberately narrow test positions. The reading view translates the archived battle events and describes the saved observation. Jev received the original Showdown log and action menu; it did not receive these reader explanations or the reference answers. The complete history remains available below each position.

HP means health; a Pokémon at zero HP has fainted. PP counts a move's remaining uses. Stat stages are temporary increases or decreases from a Pokémon's usual stats. A reserve is a participating Pokémon waiting off the field. Your goal is to defeat the opposing team before it defeats yours.

These historical tests used open team sheets: opposing moves, abilities, items and natures were disclosed. Opposing trained stats and pending commands were hidden. Your health is exact; opposing health is a displayed percentage. The later demo learns opposing details only as they are revealed.

The 320 mechanics cases are 80 groups of four variants, and 300 use the Perish Song countdown. The 24 history cases form 12 pairs. This is a diagnostic collection, not 376 independent samples of competitive play. Reference answers describe the archived test conditions, not every possible version of a matchup.

All original menu entries are preserved, including ally targets and fainted slots. Some commands become equivalent after the engine redirects their target, so more than one answer may be accepted.
